The dojo welcomes visitors who are interested in joining to come early and sit and watch the practice. The dojo’s leading policy is an open invitation to all people without any discrimination. As a consequence, there is, in the dojo, a rich diversity of students from both sexes and of all ages and all religions and from diverse social back grounds and varying martial arts experience. At the Seishinkan, Aikido is for everybody.
We also offer a free trial class for those who wish to participate in training. Just give us a ring to let us know you’re coming at one of our class times and drop in. Attire should be track pants that allow easy movement and covers the knees (to prevent mat burn) and an easy t-shirt or similar. If you have any piercings, you will also be required to remove them for safety reasons.
View our location for contact details and a map to our dojo.
Aikido Seishinkan is entirely a non profit organisation. The instructors receive no remuneration for the classes they teach. The fees that are chargeable to the students go to pay for rent, electricity and water consumed.
Training Fee: RM100.00 for 3 months of training to be paid on or before the 10th of the final month.
Late Payment: A fine of RM10.00 is imposed (For each month of every quarter in which payment is late).
Application Fee: RM35.00 application fee (one time payment) for new students.

We do not encourage very young children to join us due to the technical nature of Aikido. The preferable minimum age for entry at Seishinkan is 12 years old though exceptions can be made on a case by case basis. For parents who would like enroll their kids, the dojo allows 2 free classes to determine whether or they can become a member.
What we emphasize is discipline, the ability to follow instructions and a genuine interest in learning Aikido.
Gi and Belt
RM70.00 for gi jacket and trousers and white belt which can be purchased from the dojo, subject to availability.
We also allow outside gis as long as they are of the same look and style, white in colour and have no badges or markings on them.
